We were hoping for a bowl this year (I was expecting 5 wins) and we got one, so I think we're on track. Now we should be expecting the win totals to increase in years 3 and 4, IMO. I do like the move as a vote of confidence though and it will help build momentum. Wr saw with Fulmer that extensions can increase buyout costs though. The team has improved year to year and within the season.
The move of Robertson from DL to OL in retrospect was a great move. We would NOT be at 6-6 if the move isn't made as most of our run success has been behind Robertson pulling. Hart and the administration at UT are fully aware the cupboard was bare when Jones arrived. He's done exceptionally well in getting the talent upgraded, and has unified the fan based once again. They know he's done as well as could be expected, and almost certainly exceeded expectations in recruiting.
