Add Stokes to this equation, and who knows what can happen this season?  I don't think we're going to compete for a title or anything, but this is a team that can make some noise in SEC play.  Our poor OOC resume probably means that short of an SECT title, we're not going to the dance, but this is a team that can make a run in the NIT and build a solid foundation for next year.

Hopefully the OOC record was necessary for team-building and it's onward and upward from hear.

Didn't Bruce have one year of bad OOC games at some point?  I can't recall.  Regardless, there is a lot more to look forward to the rest of this season now.

Not that I can recall.  Bruce got at least a couple big OOC wins every year I can remember.  In fact, those wins over Pitt and Villanova got us to the dance last year, because at 8-8 in the league, we definitely wouldn't have gone otherwise.

Given our OOC struggles this year, it would probably take at least an 11-5 SEC record to get us there, and that's just not going to happen.

Yeah, I am not worried about about the NCAA this year.  Just be competitive in the SEC is all I expect.  That looked rather unlikely before today, but not anymore.

There is always the chance of an SEC tourney run, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
