Well that should settle it.  Peyton can coach our next QB, the one after Dobbs.   :naughty:

Peyton may be physically ready to play, but at his age, time and the Bronco's offensive line are not.  Unless their OL really improves, Peyton will take the same type of beatings he took this year and the injuries are going to take longer to recover from. That is just a fact of life. If the Broncos do not improve the surrounding cast on offense and defense, it will not matter how many TDs he throws. I just wish Elway could pick a head coach that had a chance to succeed.

I figure Peyton has 1-2 years left even if Denver has the greatest OL of all time.

One thing that could help him is going ahead and leaving the game after its in hand.  He never has wanted to do that, but might as well start now.
