We have a very real chance of going 7-5 in Heupel's first year!

We aren't the best team, nor deepest team by far in the SEC but this team will fight you tooth and nail for 60 minutes!

If you want to examine why this team has "bought in" I commend you to observe the last 16 seconds of the first half.
They staff was aggressive, had a good plan, put the players in a position to do well, and the players EXECUTED.
Result: 3 points that were the final margin of the game

Same thing their last series
The staff became aggressive, sold out to put pressure on the QB (you don't necessarily have to have someone in his face for him to feel the presure (and believe me #7 felt it), abandoned the zone, and went man across the field and dared them to beat us.  They couldn't.
Result: 3 kneel downs and a WIN!

In a game where Kentucky ran 99 plays, gained 600+ yards, and never punted they were out coached when it counted.  Simple as that.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

We watched the phoenix wake up last night. I so wish it would take flight next week.

How many times in the past have we been frustrated by coaches with a whole lot more time that chose to run the clock out?  Dooley, Jones, and particularly Pruitt all did this.  Not Heupel though!

I am very happy with Heupel so far.  Still wish we had not let Mullen get away though.
