Now go get a QB coach and find some 3rd year PE major to coach TEs. We don't throw to them anyway.

North Texas has had some of the worst offenses in college football since he's been OC there, so that would be an odd choice to say the least.

We could argue that hiring friends is Butch's biggest detriment. Elder certainly seemed to be an exception to that; special teams were as good under his watch as they've ever been at UT. But hiring the OC from North Texas wouldn't exactly excite anyone.

He has experience. Whether he has experience being a quality football coach is definitely debatable.

How about one of the BIG 12 OC's or maybe one like  Oregon's. Someone like that. How would Dobbs do in an Oregon offense? He would kill it.
