The show is now the #2 cable show in the US. And if its ratings were included with the broadcast network ratings, it would now be ranked about #9. That's amazing for a cable show.

And the Game of Thrones premiere is on at the same time.  Between The Governor and King Joffrey, that's a whole lot of evil for one hour of TV.

Speaking of ratings, I read the other day that "Talking Dead", the discussion show that follows TWD, has been getting bigger ratings than any show on NBC.

BTW, do you realize what a great time this is for TV?  At least as far as dramas go, this is really the Golden Age.  Just look at shows like The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Justified, and Dexter- 15 years ago (Before The Sopranos came along), any one of those shows would've been sweeping the Emmys every single year.  These days, they can't even get nominated.  And while that's a travesty, which show in front of them are they going to replace?  Breaking Bad?  Homeland?  Mad Men? Game of Thrones?  Boardwalk Empire?  Downton Abbey?  Nope (okay, maybe Downton Abbey).  Still, that's a whole lot of quality TV.  And now you can add new shows into the mix- House of Cards, The Americans, The Following.  Just a great time for the medium.

Now if we can just get some quality comedies.

Well...that's not really anything to brag about. I am pretty sure there is some local access shows that get higher ratings that most NBC shows.
