I will be leaving the office at 11:30 today as usual on Friday. It's too rainy to play golf but that's no reason to stay at the office on Friday. I could do laundry or scrub the floors and have more fun.

Thank you. That is all. Carry on.

Afternoon edit: The sun came out and we played golf. Just the way it should be on Friday.

I think I'll join you and leave today at noon.  It's been a bad week here.  My former office director, who I worked with/for for over 13 years, and who just retired in August, passed away this week just short of 67 years old.    He was also a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, having served for over 21 years.  In total, he served his country in one form or another for over 41 years.  It's just very hard to come to grips with after seeing him recently and him being so very stress-free and happy.  He didn't just retire to a couch watching TV either.  He was very active serving on several boards for his college alma mater and for the military, as well as working as a consultant.  I know we've all heard it a million times, but enjoy every minute you have; it's all too short.  So, droner, leave at 11:30 and "have more fun."

RIP Mickey, you deserve it!

Or you could drive over to Spartanburg and have a Hash-A-Plen-Tay at the Beacon for lunch?

I did just that last Saturday on my way down to Augusta, and then again on Wednesday (only I had a Chili-cheesburger-A-Plen-Tay) on our way home from Myrtle Beach.

Love me some Beacon, even though the White family doesn't own it any longer.  The new owners have pretty much kept it as it was.
