Their wr's are still a bad matchup for us but Carolina outplayed them enough to win without Shaw if they didn't turn it over in the red zone. Part of the game and they all count, but they put up as much offense against Mizzou with the back up qb than they did at Neyland with Shaw.

Not predicting a win, but if we play better it is possible to get a road win this week. I also wonder if Mizzou will have a let down? It's just the 4-4 Vols coming to town, or is the newness of SEC play still enough to get them pumped each game?

If bs can operate the offense at a quick temp (something we did not do in the 2nd half at bama) then we can wear them down.  One big problem we have had recently is that injuries, such as the one to Smith, have forced us into situational WR packages, which has really slowed us down.

I don't think there will be a letdown, especially since they're coming off a loss. But I agree that this is a game we will have a shot in. That's all you can ask for. Obviously no one expected Mizzou to be ranked coming into this season, but they are, and regardless of whether they're overranked, beating a No. 10 team after having already beaten No. 11 would be a nice feather in Butch Jones' cap.
