Absolutely. I would've been perfectly okay with him being given a second chance. But I'm not going to cry for him because he wasn't.

A lot of UT fans are crying foul because Clinton-Dix was reinstated after two games, but it's an apples-oranges comparison.

Leaving yourself open to an NCAA decision is playing with fire.  Everyone knows they are inconsistent, so putting yourself on their chopping block is just stupid. Plus, you don't really have a leg to stand on when you knowingly break the rules.
