If they keep playing like that, they will be a dangerous team in the NCAA tourney. Maybe even the SEC tourney although they usually fall off during that tournament for some reason.

Not much tradition there.  Haven't won it since 1979.  But part of the problem is that our best years since the Ernie and Bernie days were under Pearl, and IMO he didn't give a rip about the SECT.  Which is why I think we beat Auburn in the tourney if we meet them.

It wasn't just Pearl.  We had some good teams under Green and Cuonzo that laid eggs in the SECT, too.  We just seem to be cursed in that tourney.  It's in St. Louis this year, maybe the change of scenery will help. :dunno:

well yeah, but Green and Cuonzo teams underachieved in everything   :naughty:

What I am saying is that Bruce should have done better or could have.  He just didn't want to IMO.

Green and Cuonzo...just par for the course.  I'd put Green ahead of Cuanzo any day though.
