1st D series: we played the fly fake well and the QB ran past an over pursuing AJ; allow the RB to bounce it outside for a nice gain and Teague got caught retaliating; AJ lost his man resulting in a long pass play; lost contain AGAIN but AJ blasted the QB on the sideline; nice pressure in the QB's face led to the field goal
1 st O series: CP benched for a couple of plays for ru Ning the ball out of the end zone; nice run by Neal, not that good of blocking; nice route, throw and catch to ZRO; another good run; 1st down throw to Hunter; blitzing LB blows up a run; another slant to CP, nice route; AJ for a first down; CP nice stop route for a completion, very nice; Neal make something out of nothing; Bray throws it into the stands and receives a shot to the face for his efforts; Neal fights to the goal line; AJ untouched into the end zone - a nice drive, very well called and executed, who knew it was the end of the road for the offense, ended by the drink (after splitting the uprights on the two previous efforts and costing the crowd 20% off at Ruby Tuesdays)
2nd D series: Jeesh! We had him sacked and allowed a first down; stuffed the run; another short pass play; good pressure led to an incomplete pass; stopped the fake, thanks to Probst
2 nd O series: intentional grounding, good call after a delayed blitz that we had nobody to pick up; short pass to Hunter after looking left but not looking right; nice pass to Neal on a check down; bad punt to a touchback
3rd D series: Teague again overruns backside contain, misses a (tough) tackle, 80 yard TD, Play was well blocked at the point of attack.  We were in single safety who cheated to his right, out of the play.
3rd O series: bad pass; bad pass under pressure; nice slant to Hunter; counter where the rg made a good block, backside stopped the play; pressure led to a pick even though CP was open on a shorter route
4th D series: they gashed us up the middle, well blocked at the point of attack, 2nd play in a row that their OL blocked well; stuffed the run; had good pressure, should have been a sack, bad coverage by Wagner (again)
4th O series: nice run by Neal; nice catch by CP; end of quarter

3rd quarter summary:  one good offense series, our only good offensive series of the night.  Our defense gave up two long running plays but WE WERE STILL IN THE GAME!

Definitely still in the game.  It's amazing that a relative handful of plays - the long run, the int, and CP just missing a catch on the first play of the 4th - turned things around so quickly.
