Speculation that he is not likely to be back. The speculation on VQ is that he wants to avoid more injuries to be ready for the NFL combines, he doesn’t like school and has grade issues which would make him ineligible for a bowl game anyway, or both of the above.

2 Points:
I read Hubbs' note and didn't read it that way.  Evans has a high ankle sprain.  That takes time, especially for a skill position to recover from (heck, it took three games off for Cooper to return at center (and he still is suffering issues with the ankle - the first sack last week is right after the Cooper almost couldn't make it back to the line because of his ankle and at least twice last night he hobbled back to the line) from one and Cade is suffering through one the last two games - they took him out the last 2-3 series as well).  The next two games we should not need Evans to win.

That is a typical bullshizzle thread on VQ.  Lot of hot air with ZERO (0) facts supporting their bullshizzle and posterior emissions.

BTW, I am very concerned with Carvin's injury last night

Pirate, I don’t read that the same way that you do, but I hope that you are right.

JCV, they bullied Lane big time after Carvin went out.

If you notice, a lot of the passes were quick reads and some shining objects to distract the defense.
Also, I think Hooker tweaked a leg in the 2nd quarter
He never seemed comfortable all night.
As the game went on he seemed not as quick or decisive

I think it was wise to get Milton in the game, against quality competition
While he had some issues it is clear that he has been coached during the the time since Hooker took over

Also, both before and after the switch at QB the communications between the two appeared good on the bench

I was very pleased with Milton's performance - 100% improvement.  Threw the ball well.  As for Evans, we are already past the point where we needed him.

I agree that the final two games, we shouldn’t need Evans. In a potential bowl game, I think it’s likely that he might be a huge factor. My thought on Evans, though, is really just selfish because I’d love to have him in the backfield again next year.

Evans needs tape to help his draft stock, but if he's gone, oh well. And yeah, high ankle sprains are brutal.

I agree he needs more tape.  HE does have a natural talent.
He may go, he may stat
I think it a mistake if he goes this year but I might be a bit older than he

What round does he project into?  I don't see him going that high, if at all.  Hope he comes back.  If not, good luck to him.

Coach Huep seems to think that he is not out for the season
