Looking back, I see a silver lining in our travails though. For one, it made the rest of the team stronger IMO. They were not able to lean on Bray and Hunter and had to go through some tough growing pains. I think that pays big dividends next year. Also, it drives home what little depth we had, but hopefully we helped develop that depth. Our coaches have had it "very carefully explained" so to speak, to them just how far we had to go. Hopefully that challenge energizes and inspires the entire team, particularly when they see what is possible with everyone back. |
