Title: Boeheim is a douche Post by: BanditVol on March 16, 2012, 02:17:52 EDT I didn't see the game, but three calls went against UNC-Asheville near the end of the game and were apparently very controversial. So instead of just taking the luck and saying the usual coachspeak, Boeheim is all over making excuses about it. :frown:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=320750183 Boeheim had his own take on the play with Triche. "First of all, all the noise about the ball going out of bounds, I mean, Triche got pushed. That's why it went out of bounds," he said. "Maybe they missed the out of bounds, they missed the foul call. Those things equal out." Isn't there a rule against coaches commenting on officiating, or is that only in football??? Syracuse slumped down the stretch of the regular season anyway and their 7-foot center is out. I have five different tourney brackets going, and I only picked them into the FF in one. Now I hope they go out in the next game. I have a new favorite team in the tourney ... anyone playing Syracuse. :bird::nod: Title: Re: Boeheim is a douche Post by: PirateVOL on March 16, 2012, 02:22:31 EDT I didn't see the game, but three calls went against UNC-Asheville near the end of the game and were apparently very controversial.
