"Taking my second visit there, I like the connection I have with the coaches," Seaton said after his official visit to Colorado. "There aren't many mostly black coaching staffs out there. Just seeing somewhat familiar faces and people who look like me on the coaching staff is definitely very rare. There are only a few black head coaches in college football so it's definitely rare seeing that.

According to On3, Tennessee and Texas are emerging as schools to watch in the recruitment of South Carolina transfer Juice Wells.
You have to like this as I still have nightmares of him going wild against two years ago.

Great news. You could tell in the VA game that he was going to be the leader of the defense.

I'm just excited to see what more more year of off-season conditioning could do for him. He could put up historic numbers.
He reminds me of Kamara.

From the CBS Sports Cover 3 podcast ... If Garner wants Nolan then so do I.
Chip: Is Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolan, former 5-star product, someone who really came on as a dominant player this year, would you say that's the top defensive option in the portal right now?
Bud: Yes, as of this moment. He is ready-made, impact defensive lineman. There's not a lot of guess work there. The guy is a stud. He'll get a huge bag wherever he goes.
Chip: It will be like when he was a recruit and all the big boys were there ready to pull it together for him. Cash in twice, good for you.
Tom: So which SEC team is he gonna end up at? Georgia? Alabama? Texas? [laughs]
Bud: I think maybe another orange team.
Tom: ...Clemson?
Chip: Syracuse!
Bud: Tennessee. He's from there, they recruited him hard the first time. I don't have a crystal ball pick in for it, but yeah.
Tom: Tennessee from Texas A&M? Is that an upgrade?
Chip: Texas A&M is losing a lot.
Tom: If I'm him, and I can go anywhere that I please... maybe it's just a thing where he wants to be closer to home, but if I can get a bag and play for a title contender it would be weird for me to go to Tennessee. But whatever.
Bud: When we did the show this past summer talking to different collective groups, I tried to pick ones that have good reputations, and Tennessee's has a really good reputation. The opportunities at Tennessee, especially if you're from there, could be pretty significant. But schools like Oklahoma and Texas, that's a big position of need for them. Miami is another one. He is going to be a coveted target for everyone.

Dabo Swinney is a case in point. He has been an offensive person his entire life...played WR, began his coaching career as a WR, then eventually moved up to offensive coordinator at Clemson. His early Clemson teams weren't bad, but they weren't great either. After giving up 60 to West Virginia in the 2012 Orange Bowl he fired Kevin Steele on the spot. There were plenty of people who said he shouldn't have done that; it was a knee-jerk reaction after one bad game. But the proof is in the pudding. Since that time, Dabo's Clemson teams have won 6 ACC championships and 2 national championships. He did what needed to be done to make his team strong on both sides of the ball. I see lots of people arguing for Banks to get one more year. Nah, I've seen enough. Let's make the change now. Assuming we don't completely collapse and lose to Vandy, we're going to be in a good place after this season and able to attract quality candidates. Let's make a change while we can, and not wait for a potentially lackluster season in 2023 that might deter candidates.
Same here. Will Muschamp is making $800K as a co-DC at Georgia. An example of who we could pursue.
