Title: Now that Tua got hurt and you hear so much about "load management",how
Post by: volsboy on November 18, 2019, 07:46:31 EST
long will it be before these college players start sitting out regular reason games they deem unnecessary, never mind bowl games, because they could get hurt and hurt their draft stock. You know these poor college players do not get paid so they have to stay healthy for the NFL. Where does it end? Why did college players just 5 years ago not worry about getting paid in college or setting out to protect themselves? Who was the first college player to set out a bowl game to avoid possible injury? I looked it up. it was Fournette and McCaffrey. Do you like it or hate it?

There have always been players slacking to avoid injury. Dion Grant seemed to go out of his way to avoid contact at times in 99.
