Transfer portal is about to explode.

Riley wanted no part of the SEC.

First off, I’d really hate that for all of those ex-UT players who went to Norman to play for him. 😜

On a more serious note, Riley likely sees the writing on the wall. Championships are going to be much more difficult to come by once OU is in the SEC, I think. Expectations are presently much higher at OU than they will be at USCw. The likely floor at USC will likely match the ceiling for OU once they are in the SEC.

Did NOT see that coming.

VN will be full of "Heupel to OU".

I seriously doubt it, but it may be that no one wants to go to OU and they get desperate.

I could see Kiffin to OU

kiffin is going South
The question is how far South
My guess?
Miami then the bayou are the 2 most likely options

Orgerron was sleazy, and so is Joey Freshwater. I think LSU wants to move away from that.

Oh wait. Its Louisiana. Never mind!

Heupel should do what's best for him, but my guess is a few other guys get calls before he does. Were I at OU I'd hire him, but who the Sooners have a lot of options.

Stoops is who fired him as the OC, will have a say in who is hired and there is a lot of bad blood between them
They would have to get into a L$U situation before his name ever appeared on a list

I'm guessing that SEC Shorts is working up something good for the occasion.
