The wide open missed dunk layup was HUGE in a game like this.  It was a 4-point swing.

Analytics be dogged, I would have liked to have had about five made 15' jumpers in regulation.

As a bad fan I turned it off late in the second half.

I think that they all had the "missed shot flu".

Maybe the trip to Colorado and then straight New York was too much.

I've never seen so many missed shots. And a lot of them were way off.

I went back and re-watched the missed dunk (layup) by JJJ.  His plant foot slipped slightly and his knee buckled.  He was fortunate that he didn't hyper-extend the knee on that play.

The only thing I will say, is that if the team is going to play this way, which, per another message board I was informed that 4 of our 8 games have been poor, at least it's better at the start of the season than the end.

I also think Barnes teams generally improve over the year.

It's a long way to March.

But I am concerened by what I am hearing (I have only seen one game this year, and it was UNC  ).

I thought the same thing.  It looked like he hit a wet spot on the floor (it was near the foul line, so that would make sense).  He could have seriously injured himself there.  I would not be surprised if he tweaked his knee a little.

At least we were able to fight our way back to OT, but dang, we had a chance to win it in regulation, and of course, blew it.
