I hate 3rd downs

Weird to go for it on 4th and long. I'll take it.

the 3rd string corner had good coverage the last 2 downs
Not getting any pressure off the front 4
K Joseph got his first couple of snap DS in for Barron, didn’t look lost at all

played well for the couple of snaps

Fant with 2 poor plays in a row
Whiffed on a blocke and didn’t pull in the catch

Very impressed with Josephs, and that the coaches trusted him.

Haden in for Charles at left corner

He missed some key blocks last year too.

 Easley having a damn good start

He forced the pick

I love Ball State's coach.

Does Tom Hart sound like he's coming through a tiny transistor radio for everyone else? The other guy sounds normal- I think it's just Hart's microphone.

1) Omari Thomas was balling on Ball State's last possession.Great recognition on the screen.

2) Young guys are playing early. That wasn't just coach speak.

I've always liked Keaton. It was good to see him get a big catch.

Ugh. I really want to see Milton succeed. It would've been real easy for him to transfer.

But damn. He's STILL overthrowing everybody. :banghead:

Since we don't have a prototypical short yardage back, why not Milton in the wildcat? He has the size to pick up the tough yards, and opposing defenses would have to account for his arm as well. :dunno:

He lowered his shoulder on one play tonight, but ya, that's not his norm.

By everybody you mean one tight end, right?  :biggrin: I thought Milton looked very much improved. Relative to expectations, I was more impressive with Milton than Hooker tonight.

He was off on one that was bailed out on a PI, too. It won't go on the stat sheet, but we all saw it. He looked good on everything that wasn't in the EZ- but when he sees a slam dunk TD, he still seems to get out over his skis.
