That's pretty much BS.  If they pony up $32 million to buy him out, they are insane.  It's just a game.  Reality should set in at some point.

If I was an Aubie fan, I'd commit myself to two more seasons of Gus.  Their OL is god awful this year, maybe as bad as ours was to start the year, and next year and the one after likely will be better.  For $32M, they can afford to wait.

Not even Auburn is dumb enough to fork over 40 mil including hiring a new staff....Just don't think they are that dumb. Their only hope is that after the season if it keeps going South for Auburn is that Gus wants out and they workout a deal.

Auburn's AD is about as dumb as the ones we've had over their years....After last season they locked Gus up on a long term deal because they were afraid he's was going to leave them for the Ark job.

Yeah, like Arkansas is such a big step up from Auburn.  Don't get me wrong, Arkansas has been good at times and has some tradition and lots of support, but it's a huge rebuilding job.  Gus much better off at Auburn, and he knew it.

But the real story is that Jimmy Sexton is the devil.  The SEC ADs should put a contract on him.
