there is still plenty of time left in this game and as bad as our offense has been it can score and the defense has played well enough to keep us in this game..will take everything we got if we do come back but is still possible...got to wake up and stop shooting ourselves in the damn foot!

This year's squad is smoking on offense and getting better on defense. I think Tennessee plays tough against a more experienced Florida team but falls a bit short,35-28. I like the progress the team is making and think they can win 8 games. I hope when Georgia fires Richt for going 6-6 they don't come after Coach Dooley.
Vols win 31-27...IMO Dooley wont go to UGA if called to do so..he could've gone there as a player and been taken care of by his daddy instead he chose to go UVA and be his own man and I dont see that changing now

That kind of passing will open up the running game for sure...question is can our o-line stand strong against SEC defensive pass rushing.. I think with Brey in the shot gun with his quick release and throwing darts it will be hard for them to get at him in time and will assure a balanced attack especially running the draw in a spread formation but will find out more about this team on the road in the Swamp this week

Fl is usually our 3rd game and we usually have two non SEC teams before them.....The past few years our teams havent been that great with all the coaching changes and talent level has dropped off and we played a few good teams early like Oregon last yr,Cal a few yrs before then and we lost to UCLA twice, both games we had but gave away due to stupid penalties and poor execution...has been since 2006 that we were 2-0..now lets stomp some gator eggs and make it 3-0!!!

My favorite part was right before half when ND was driving in the red zone and had a penalty on 3rd dwn and Majors declined it..Former NFL coach of the 49ers Bill Walsh was a commentator for NBC in that game who coached Joe Montana who had played for ND said of our coaching staff "What are they doing declining that penalty and not backing them up,they are not even in the same league as ND"...lol..Majors knew what he was doing,he was making the angle of the kick harder to make and not giving them another chance on 3rd dwn to make a td,we block it and get a td out of it... I knew we were back in the game after we scored that td if we could stop shooting ourselves in the foot because we had spotted them 28 points in the 1st half on stupid mistakes

I had to watch that game with the old rabbit ears and snowy reception from Charlotte because the local NBC station here in S.C was airing S.C being destroyed by FSU 50 something to nothing but was worth it all when Lincoln blocked that kick with his butt..lol...Holtz said that was his most disappointing loss ever....

Sports / VTTW Message Board / Ex UGA coach Jim Donnan and wife accused in ponsi scheme....
|
on: July 18, 2011, 05:28:53 EDT

ATLANTA (AP) -- A former University of Georgia football coach has been accused in court documents of making millions of dollars from a Ponzi scheme.
The federal documents filed this week in bankruptcy court in Ohio contend that Jim Donnan and his wife, Mary, attracted investments for GLC Ltd., which filed for bankruptcy in February.
The documents claim the Donnans made commissions for new investments. It claims Donnan invested more than $5.4 million in the company and that his family ultimately made more than $14.5 million.
Donnan and his wife filed for bankruptcy protection this month. GLC is being restructured, and the documents were filed by the company's current operators.
Donnan's attorney, Ed Tolley, didn't return calls seeking comment Saturday, but he has denied allegations of wrongdoing.
