Is working on combining the men's and women's athletic Depts.  I also hear that the marketing of the programs will change in that the Lady Vol logo will be done away with and that the power T will be THE logo.

What are y'alls thoughts?

I personally think it's long overdue.

I know that the LV's BB team doesn't really generate money, but I would bet that the LV's logo and merchandise do.

I also wonder how Pat feels about it.  And ftr the part I feel is long overdue is the combining of the mens and womens AD's.  However, I personally don't see the point in doing away with the LV's logos.  Thanks to Pat they are a brand in and of themselves.

The plan to combine departments was actually in place before Hamilton was fired.

I'm ambivalent on the logos. I don't mind if they unify them but am certainly ok with the lady vols having their own. But they are going to unify them.

Combining the departments is the only thing that makes sense.

with this, I agree....why get rid of it?  Makes no sense to me.  Combining the departments is probably a smart move.

The buzzwords seem to be "consistent branding". I don't see the harm in the LV's having their own logos.
