Well considering that Nico has to stay at least three years, GMAC is likely to only be on the bench one year, and I am pretty sure he can take that. If Nico doesn't go pro in 2026, then we may have a problem, but by then maybe the 4 star we have will have worked out or we get another star. I mean, it's not hard to figure this out. He better be as good as advertised. His first home game in Tuscaloosa is against UGa. They play Wisconsin before that game. The Gumps will turn on him fast. I have no doubt the "bama brand" still has some attractiveness, but how much of that was saban? (and the money he was paying under the table of course).How well did USC do without Carroll? How well did Nebraska do without Osbourne? How well did FSU do after BB got dementia? And so on. The track record of replacing a legend is not good, to say the least.
