Hire Blackburn, who should have been hired in the first place and lets move on. Things like this happen in coaching searches. Look at what happened with Florida when Zook was hired. They were sure it was going to be Stoops, and then another big name I can't remember, and then they got stuck with Zook at the last minute. What about the bammer coach that never coached a game? Etc...
Agree that my confidence in Christie is not high at the moment. But he need not be defined by one bungled coaching hire. It happens.
