Florida is the no. 1 team in the country for a reason....as anyone who has watched them play at all knows, they have four talented seniors who have been playing together for four years.
Yesterday I saw a Missouri team that struggled inside but was able to keep it respectable for the first ~ 3/4ths of the game by driving the baseline and shooting from outside. They tried to run a bit too, but Florida was too fast for them.
At around the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half, Florida just took charge. It was like men among boys. Missouri was worn out, they had no answer.
What I see today is that Tennessee has the size inside to muscle up to Florida, but also that McRae and Stokes have answered two runs that Florida started to get back into the game. I am very proud of those two in the first half...they definitely stepped up.
Florida has the horses to win this one and they will be coming strong. But so far, so good....
