Assume a very talented, but *hated* Alabama / Florida player signs with the Titans / Colts / WhomEverIsYourFavProTeam ... do you (a) welcome the dude, yo teammate!  (b) hope he never pans out is traded away  (c)  hope he gets injured [can't believe anyone would really want this]   (d) pretend you don't know anything about it ... LA LA LA LA LA I can't heeeeear you!

I must admit, I have trouble "welcoming" a hated rival to "my" Pro team ... not very mature/adult of me, I know, but ... that's who I am.

If you really are a fan of that team you have to hope they they are all pro, because that means the team you support will have a better chance to be successful.

I don't dislike anybody because of where they chose to go to school, except of course, Rat Bastard tiglets.

Julio Jones will fizzleing destroy you.

I just hope he doesn't give up football when he gets a taste of that massive paycut he'll take going from bammer to the NFL.

When they sign with my pro team, I root for them... i.e. Jevon Kearse, Eddie George, Randall Godfrey.

Start the countdown until Lyn joins the thread.

I'm all for Dallas getting the best players available, no matter where they come from.

Harry Doyle: You know I used to hate Parkman when he was with the A's. It's amazing how a new uniform can change your attitude about a guy.

Harry Doyle: He's still a dick.

Usually not  a factor.  If the player was particularly disliked, like say, Chris Leake, then I am unhappy and wish they were not on my team.  I will hold my nose and root for them though.

But it's only the most disliked players I feel that way about.  For instance, in the case of Mark Ingrahm I would not bat an eye.  He seems like a good guy even if he did play for bammer.
