Horrible one-sided officiating, ice cold shooting- that was our bounce game. And somehow we survived it. Hopefully there isn't another in the offing.

Why are they only showing one game at a time today, and pushing the rest to tonight? Don?t recall them doing this before.

IMO, AU was the only team that could've challenged UConn in that region. So they just got a free pass to the Final Four.

Of course, I'm only ahead of one guy in the pick'em, and he forgot to fill out a bracket. So what do I know?

Early in Cal's tenure up there, I'd look at the recruiting rankings and think, "Dang- UK got 3 of the top 10 players in America. How can we we compete with that?" Now, I think "Dang- UK only got 3 of the top 10 players in America. How can they compete with us?"

Yeah, I picked some early upsets too. But I couldn?t pick any Cinderella to get too far.

I?ve been saying for weeks that this will be one of the most chaotic tourneys ever. But I just filled out my bracket, and it looks awfully chalky. 

So why are we not all in the mattress business? 

Well, because it?s a low-frequency business. Someone can buy a new car, and even if that car is still in tiptop shape after 4-5 years, a good % of people will be itching to replace it with a newer model with all the latest bells and whistles. But if someone buys a mattress, most will keep it until it starts to visibly wear out- 10, 15, even 20 years.

Btw I used to work at a now-extinct big box electronics retailer back in the day. And for some reason we also sold mattresses. As you may or may not be aware, mattresses have the highest margins of nearly any big household purchase you can make. A $9k mattress probably only costs a couple hundred bucks to manufacture.

  Wow, that's crazy!  I can definitely settle for less than that.   

I looked at Purple. They have some models that are relatively affordable. But their top of line in a king is 9 grand. 

Several so called gurus are predicting UK to make the Final Four....A couple have them in the championship game. Dickie V last night had KY winning it all....He also had us in the Final Four.

It's just hard for me to believe KY can get to the Final Four playing no defense....We will see.

UK at their best is capable of getting to the FF. Problem is, they haven?t shown they can sustain that level for more than 2-3 games at a time. And when they?re NOT at their best, they can lose to literally anyone.

I really wish we played them in FB this year. I wanna hang 70 on them while we still can. I think it's possible that Mizzou will be out of the SEC before we see them again. No inside info, just a hunch.
