On a mostly unrelated note, Hyams is of the opinion that UT will open up the QB competition this week in practice. Arnold, Swafford, Juin, and who? As for the QB race, I'll believe it when I see it but Worley is not going to win games for us. I think to some degree Butch is protecting the younger guys but the time for that may be at an end. I heard somewhere that we only have 2 players from Kiffin's recruiting class and we know Dooley didn't really burn up the recruiting trail, so we are extremely thin. But all three of those walkons played when the game was still in some doubt, and the fact that we are in a position to need to do that is very sad. Arnold, Swafford, Juin, and Toney - although I don't think Toney is a walk-on any more. It seemed like every 3rd series Martinez put in the backups Coleman played ok, got burned on the backside fly once when he took the flare and the safety didn't come over and cover. Sutton got exposed but made a couple of good plays. The only positives I saw were that Randolph appears to be more or less full speed and played pretty well, and that our young starting CB (McNeil?) had a couple good moments in the first quarter after having a great game vs. WKU.
