If you don't know what I'm talking about, bammer hit a greater-than-midcourt shot at the end of their game with Kentucky Georgia yesterday to win and thus nail down the 4th seed.

The shot followed a steal, which is even more amazing.  Of course it was tied, and might have gone to OT and then bammer wins anyway, but still, it was a miracle.

The way our announcers were talking yesterday, it seems that if bammer had lost we would have a 4-seed.  Which is a big deal because it's basically a bye into the semifinals.

I don't know enough about the tie-breakers, but if bammer had lost we both would have been 11-7 in the SEC.

Oh well, if we take care of business in the first game, we can take down bammer ourselves.

I'm thinking Tennessee will win at least 2 games in the Tourny. It'll be nice to see the BasketVols go dancing once again

It sure will.  We have only been out a year, but it seems forever.  I think the less than glorious exit in Pearl's last year may have contributed to that.

There's no reason why Tennessee shouldn't be in the NCAA Tournament every year

Agree.

To be clear, I mean our exit two years ago was so bad it seems like we haven't been in three years.  This is a chance to wipe all that out though.

The Bammer miracle came against Georgia. Sadly, Kentucky beat Florida -- which gives them an excellent shot at making the tourney field. Even if they're one-and-done in the SECT they'll likely land a spot. :(
