Title: TE Chase Rogers Decommits Post by: Tnphil on November 14, 2016, 02:18:57 EST From Chase's dad:
This is less about another school and more about what Tenn has done. We have had one text in 3 weeks.. Best interest for us to step back. We are greatful for Tenn and because of that Chase has had this rate increase. Thanks again Really odd: He is now ranked as the 12th best TE in the nation. His stats on the year: Rogers, who will visit Texas this weekend, has 58 receptions, 1,019 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season heading into St. Stanislaus’ second round playoff game Friday night at Mendenhall. No #12 TE in the country is what I'm not happy about! Title: Re: TE Chase Rogers Decommits Post by: Tnphil on November 15, 2016, 01:58:55 EST The Brown kid who committed out of Florida we recruited as a TE is a 3 star too. He plays QB in a spread type offense and has big playmaking ability. It's why we cooled on Rogers.
Rogers is expected to go to 4 star on the next eval period. I liked the Rogers kid from the get go. You can have 3 stars....just not a recruiting class full of them like the 2017 class is so far. Nice try! :naughty: I look for 5-6 more to be told to look elsewhere before signing day. Recruiting "over" prospects has become the norm pretty much everywhere in this day and time. And kids to continue to be "recruited" by other schools really aren't committed in the first place. That game is played both ways. |
