Having been in the area North, NW and West of the new city to be in 2022, I agree with their plan for the new city
The worst is that home of drunk out of their minds college a couple miles to the West

In a vacuum, a midweek loss is meaningless. But this makes three straight games where the offense has been lacking. UF hasn?t been great this year, but they?ve looked a lot better lately. They will take the series this week if the bats don?t wake up.

waka waka will be missed.  damn free agency
Blame Aidoo
Reports were that he was staying, which caused Awaka to enter, then Aidoo shocked Barnes by entering the portal

In any case, while I will miss Awaka, who I loved his play (and the "look in his eye" at KY this year) I think we improved with the exchange

Well, S Knox County has always been a bit "different"

yup.  I stumbled across a still while hiking in my junior or senior year....most likely senior year. In fact, I found more than one over time.  I found a couple that were abandoned and old, and at least one that was active.

When I was in HS and we lived in the Kimberlin Heights area (my parents house is still there, although they are both now in homes for the elderly), in my HS head, the countryside all around their house was open country and not owned by anyone. I guess I thought it belonged to the state of Tennseesee. So I would hike through the woods for miles away from my parents house, mostly in the winter when there wasn't much else to do.  Took the family dog sometimes.  And now I realize I was trespassing the entire time.  Probably lucky I wasn't shot at some point.

They were a paper tiger to begin with, IMHO.

Kinda crazy that only Peyton, Shuler and Dobbs done much at the next level. Maybe Bobby Scott. I expected more of them to do better than they did at the time. A lot of it has to do with luck and location.

Not sure Dobbs did all that much?  Shular did start a season or two, but didn't amount to much.

I think this is very common.  Can't think of many schools that have a lot of successful quarterbacks.  Oddly, Purdue is one.  Griese (BOB, to be clear), Len Dawson, Drew Brees, Mike Phipps, Jim Everett, Kyle Orton, and I'll even throw in Mark Hermon, though a great college QB, not sure he ever made it in the NFL. Purdue is "Quarterback U" even though their overall success at football has been sketchy to say the least.

When I first moved to East Tennessee in 1982, there were billboards everywhere in S Knox County that said "Water is for washing, Dickel is for drinking" and it showed a country gent sitting in an old school washtub drinking Dickel from the bottle.  That sure did seem appropriate for S Knox County somehow!
