Lol so true! Knucklehead. Others were missing too ... Slaughter? Sampson? Did Wesley Walker play? Don't recall hearing his name. Last night finally did it for me. I'll never keep the faith again. We took a veteran team down there and $hit the bed AGAIN. Didn't Florida have all this attrition in the off-season? Crazy.

Article implies he was standing at the corner of Cumberland & Henley... if so, he had to be smoking in public imo  which is fine if you are in NYC. I don't think they will cite you in Nashville either, but the ol campus police will lmao

Yes, that's embarassing.  But then again, that knucklehead Muschamp also schooled us.  We never did beat the SOB while he was a gaytor and I think we didn't even beat him at USC jr until the 2nd or 3rd try.  Disgraceful.

But he is still Bush League Billy until proven otherwise.

It pains me to say it, but beating UT in the Swamp doesn't prove shizzle.  That's like us bragging about beating Vandy in Neyland.  And yes, it pains me greatly to say that, but it's true.

He was right in front of Pirate and I for the entire game...we were right behind the OL/RB benches.  He seemed distracted, I guess I know why now.

Not sure why he made the trip if he wasn't going to play, but I thought he got one series in?

Mincey played on special teams.
twice

He clearly was pissed.

I think he was told, you toke, you don't play this week

I suspect Eck screwed up and let him play

If he was suspended why did he travel and dressed. Don't believe I've ever seen or heard of such.

Both of the players who had issues with campus police traveled, dressed but didn't play (other than the 2 snaps for Mincey)

The whole team looked to be in a funk - kinda like when we played the cocks last year.....I just chalked it up to the typical Gainesville Syndrome, but maybe this 'chronic' situation had some adverse effect on the team.  The D didn't even look like they wanted to be out there at times.

That was my question also.  My guess is that with Cooper out, he was there in case Campbell was injured.  "Break glass in case of emergency".  Just  WAG though.

Is it ironic that there was a huge lack of discipline just prior to both the '22 USC & the '23 UF games? James Banks getting into a fight with Hooker, and Mincy smoking a big fatty in public

And why have someone who's suspended but not really suspended allowed to make the trip and even dress and play some in special teams but not on the OL where he's needed...Makes zero sense to me....Kind of like being pregnant....you either are or you're not. There's no in-between.

Exactly...I suspect ST play was a mistake as Pirate points out, but that doesn't make me feel much better.

It could also be that getting caught smoking a fatty just ain't what it used to be, what with it being legal even in bammer now for medical reasons.

It could be that Mincey has a medical license and just wasn't supposed to smoke it in public.

But again, if I am Heupel and I only have two healthy centers, maybe i hedge my bets.  Doesn't mean its the right decision or makes sense, but is one possiblity.

Actually Mincey is listed as a tackle, but I'm certain he has played center before and could have Saturday.
