Title: Looks like we're getting closer to the end of college football

Might as well look at a semi-pro / NFL minor league program instead.  I'm sure there's a lot of wrangling and dealing to be done because of the massive amount of dollars, but it's only a matter of time.  Once the CTE liability hits the college ranks, it will be done for.

If they want to be pros, they should be prepared for everything that goes along with that. Trades, non-guaranteed contracts, and monetary fines for misconduct should be on the table as well.

Hard to have a union when there's less than .5% involved.

And it looks like Washington State has sent players involved packing...Good!

Completely agree.

Phil - It's hard to believe the article you linked came from San Diego.  I suspect that will be a minority opinion.  The universities will fold, and it will just be the beginning I'm afraid.

Great article.

And as a bonus, they have identified the problem with Randy Sanders!

and don’t want some guy with a backwards cap from the local JC spitting chewing tobacco into a cup while mulling over third-and-long in the fourth quarter at the Rose Bowl.   :dielaughing:
