I looked at some DVDs on Amazon and a wristwatch on the manufacturer's website and now ads for those very things are showing up not only on Facebook, but also on govolsxtra.com.

I don't like it. No sir, I don't like it at all.

I got a mailer for Depends a few weeks ago and I'm still in my early 30s.

I got 4 spam e-mails today------------from myself.  Obviously someone has mined my address book, but unless I start hearing from my contacts wanting to buy know how to get into the "pharmacia", porn, or "Nigerian Prince" business, I guess I will just let it ride and not change e-mail clients, etc.  Strange thing is, I run 3 different virus/adware/cleaner programs regularly in addition to Norton, and reports have been basically clean.

Same happened to me last year....got a hold of my email contacts and sent out spam email to them. I'd get emails from my contacts asking me if I had sent these out....which I hadn't. I'd do scans etc...and they would all come back clear.

This went on for 3-4 months and it would only happen about every 3-4 weeks. Finally I had to reset my email passwords and it hasn't happened since....Thats been since back around Sept.

Also over the past 2-3 years I have gotten a virus off the Volchat site. One about 2 years ago was a duzzy. I wasn't the only one either.

I found your problems right there!  Add Twitter to your repertoire & soon you'll be getting personalized video ads spammed to you in public (like in the Minority Report).
