Saw this on Fox news and thought that this was the perfect What Droner aint drinking tonight..... First of all, the value of an old wine like that is in the history and as a museum type piece. After you open it, the value might be a whole lot less. Secondly, I'm not sure that the quality of a 200 year old wine is going to be very good. I'd keep it in the display case.

His family was fairly well off. They had a nice house with a wine cellar that was actually dug into the ground below the house. You entered through a door in the hall of the house and walked down into a rocky cellar with a few shelves.
We drank a couple of bottles and were getting buzzed when he brought out a bottle and said "Let's drink this". The bottle was obviously very old and had no label. But painted on the bottle was "Th. Jefferson". Even in my stupor I realized that it was something that we shouldn't open and common sense prevailed. I don't know if was real or not. There have been documented cases of fraud concerning his wines. But it looked the part.
