...he clearly wasn't healthy in the second half of the season, and at his age, I don't know if it's worth the effort to try and come back again.  I'd like to see him break a couple more records, but not if it means he's Favre'ing it out there and hanging on past his prime.

It's time for him to move on and start thinking about who he wants the TITANS to trade for and who to draft.

We don't even know what was wrong with him.  Just sayin, I know he doesn't have that much longer... But I'm not ready to say "it's over".

I mean, he already said he's coming back next year, right?

He's backtracking on that statement now.

If I'm honest, I'll be surprised if he comes back. I wanted to see him win another ring. But his legacy isn't going to be changed by the number of rings he owns at the end of his career. His detractors will never give him credit. After all, you don't hear half the criticism of Brett Favre that you hear of Peyton, and Favre only had one ring as well.

I don't know what was wrong with him the second half of this season, but clearly something wasn't right, and the Broncos just weren't the same team.

He just hasn't looked right for about 6 weeks. I'm not sure what the problem is but I also wouldn't be surprised if this is it, and that makes me terribly sad.

But as far as I'm concerned he didn't need to do anything else to cement his legacy. I'm sure he wanted another ring, and that he's still a highly motivated competitor, but there should be nothing hanging over his head to keep him from making the right call for himself.

That is why Denver went to the running game. They new he couldn't throw it over the top. I would always get pissed at them because it would be 3rd and 9 and they would throw a 4 yard pass. Now we know why. I am sad today. He will never lose his class though. I just know how competitive he is and I am sure this is killing him. I do see reports that he was playing with a torn quad the last 4 weeks of the season.
