Saw a NFL insider tweet that said....with the addition of Steele and Orgeron LSU now has the best defensive recruiting staff in the country.

Bama has been getting some top defensive recruits out of La. lately. This might somewhat stop it.

Bama has been getting some top defensive recruits out of La. lately. This might somewhat stop it.

Maybe.  But we tried the "bammer LB coach as a DC" and it was a disaster.  I suspect it will be for LSU also.

Steele does have a history as a DC, but it was not a good one.  He was also HC at Baylor and went 1-31.
