Agree. He progressed nicely, but if we have five or six new DBs it could be entertaining. That having been said, these departures make the reluctance to play young guys more puzzling.

We got a lot of mediocre and worse guys key reps this year at the expense of players with seemingly more upside.

I have an unproven theory. Top 10 players costs will outweigh their benefits. Obviously there will be exceptions, but give me decent proven productivity.

Culling seems positive, though it's befuddling why young guys weren't getting a few more snaps over players who have apparently been encouraged to leave.

Is the flood of potential departures good as most/all couldn't play, or awful because backups are worse?
