I swear to Jeebus, if I hear the Citizens' National Bank ad ONE MORE TIME I'm going to hurt somebody.  They run the same ads INCESSANTLY!!!  I understand a station's got to make money, but too much repetition makes the listener resent the advertiser.  Am I alone on this?  Probably?

Station over here in W. Tn. has been running the same commercial for 4 years!!! I know they are doing it because the client wants it that way. They play it 6-7 times per day that I hear it while in my car which is not a lot in the course of a day.

Last few months when it comes I change the channel. Just can't listen to it any longer.

Yeah, that ad is annoying.  Actually I find most local ads annoying anyway.  I wish TSR could do like the ESPN Radio APP and clip the ads on the podcasts.

There's a lot of things that annoy me on TSR but to me it beats the other sports radio options here.  It's a catch 22..  TSR guys are usually pretty juvenile and unprofessional but it's more fun to listen to.  Sometimes I have more tolerance for all the kiddy bs than others.  One thing that annoys me about any sports talk shows and TSR seems to do it alot.. Ainge will often repeat his point 3, 4, 5 times and leave these pauses in between (I assume for dramatic effect?) but to me it's really obvious that sometimes they're just trying to fill the time to me sometimes it is really obvious.  Idk, maybe that's just me.  IDK, like I said there's plenty about TSR that bugs me but it beats the alternative.

I solved the problem long ago

I don't listen to ANY talk radio, sports or otherwise

Well, I do listen to ATL Traffic on XM when I am transiting that nightmare of roads and traffic, I guess that is talk radio of some sort ...

Not a bad solution...I only listen to talk radio in very short snippets, usually
