Offense:  Not the greatest but did play well enough to win IMO
QB:  Bray was hot and cold.  He wa also late, a lot.  The first pick he was at least a count late throwing it, the receiver was open in the first window.  The 2nd pick was CP's fault IMO, really a poor route, didn't help Bray out at all, etc.  OTOH, Bray was more calm in the in the face of the rush today.  His long completion to Riverra was a good example.
RB:  Neal ran hard and got good yards and also was a good receiver out of the backfield, the drop at the end being an exception.  After Neal there is a clear drop off.  Lane is aboiut 75% as good as Neal, on a good day IMO.
WR:  Other than Hunter and ZRO, the rest didn't show up.  Hunter was open but aften the ball was late or badly thrown.  ZRO caught everything catchable thrown hs way.  CP is not consistent and takes plays off.  Pig played a LOT but needs to sharpen his routes, a lot.  One incompletion he really rounded the corner on a square in, thus he was late to the spot.  Dallas played a lot but wasn't a factor.  Croom was in for one of CP's fly sweeps, got a good block.  We played a lot of receivers and at least once Hunter was not pleased with having to come out of the game.
OL:  Played their best game overall.  Tiny had at least two more motion penalties.  uga ran a lot of overload blitzes but the OL and RBs did a pretty good job giving Bray some time.

Defense:  Suxes maximus
DL:  Played pretty well for the most part  Played far better as the game went along.
LB:  Lathers is a liability in the pass game.  His drops in the zone are not good - Sapp (didn't see him in the game today) is much better in that regard.  J. Smith did not get the start and his PT was way down.  MAggitt is playing hurt and it shows.  Bohannon played a lot, especially in the 2nd half but didn't do anything really noticeable watching live.  Playing the OLBs on the line with only the ILBs truely playing LB is NOT getting the job done.  If we are going to put LBs on the line put the ILBs there and the OLBs off the line, at least we would have the speed to react!
DB:  IT would be a shorter discussion to note what they did correct - Moore had a pick 6, nothing else.  Brewer has LB speed and it shows, a LOT.  Moore missed at least 5 tackles, cost us two scores.  Teague must really be in the dog house because Coleman isn't getting it donw.  McNeil played a lot late but over pursued a play that resulted in a long TD.  The only DB to have a reasonable good game was Gordon.  Our DBs suxes and are getting worse.
Kicking game:  Maximus suxes  A missed FG & EP; multiple poor punts, one of whiuch was so poor that the returner couldn't get up to catch it but for some reason let it literally roll to the one (whence we were offside on the first play ) Returns not good.  Coverage continued to be good.

Coaching:  One cannot say we abandoned the run today.  Our last TD was almost all running.  Best running in a drive in a long, long time.  I'm not too unhappy with the offensive play calling.  On defense, why in the hell can't we set a corner!  ONE FREAKING TIME in the first half we set the corner.  The rest of the time there wasn't a Tennessee player within shouting distance of the corner.  Why can't we adjust to the middle of the freaking field being wide freaking open when we play zone!?!  Why in the world can't we cover the 2nd receiver coming out on the strong side!?!  Our defense CANNOT GET OFF BLOCKS!

BTW, Dooley spent a lot of time with the offense on the sidelines, which we had set up a bit different, in a U shape.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

Agree that Tyler did better under pressure, for the most part.  Fumble at the end was probably the worst play caused by pressure.  Int's were just bad decisions or in one case a tip.

I wondered about Maggit.  I think he has been hurt since before UF, and unfortunately it has shown.  He has not been much of a factor.  I suspect Lathers is still beat up a bit also.  Neither played much vs. Akron.  I wonder why Sapp did not play more?   J Smith looked inconsistent in the last two games, but as bad as we were vs. the run, I suspect he could/should have played more.

As for the DBs, I read an article last week that said we still lacked speed in the secondary.  Agree they could have been much better, particularly in run support.  Loss of Randolph hurt a lot.  He was all-SEC frosh 1st team and the leader in the defensive backfield.  I have been harsh on Teague, but he is fast and I hope he at least gets a chance to redeem himself.  His tackle vs. the UF player was a bit embarrassing, but compared to today, at least a guy was in position to make the tackle.
