As I state below IMO the standard for an assistant can be different than for an HC (just not at OSU! lol).  I'll grant that Petrino might be a bit sleazier than Freeze, but not by much IMO.

Having said that, a better reason to not want him might be the Louisville performance this year.  Still, if Freeze goes elsewhere, is Petrino even an option?

I have a hunch Fulmer will steer Pruitt away from anyone controversial anyway, so it may not matter.  Just curious what the thoughts are on Petrino now.

What makes you think UT is above hiring someone sleazy? That Kiffin staff with Orgeron was pretty shady. Don't you think?

Yes. The idea is we learn from past mistakes, right?

If Pruitt wanted to go RPO, I'd be all for it.  But he doesn't, so....

Why are football coaches the only profession where you can suck bad at your current job, get fired and be hired right away to a seemingly better gig. Most of these guys just failed at their jobs and we have fans fighting over getting them to their school. Crazy. BTW..Cowherd thinks Klingsbury will be OC at SoCal.

Freeze wasn't fired because he suxed at his job.  He was fired for recruiting violations and also for banging ho's that he would call on his university phone.

I know you don't even pretend to keep up with football, but Freeze beat Saban two years running and got Ole Miss to it's first no.1 ranking since 1960.  If you call that failing at your job, then
