The charge is aggravated assault. That's pretty high up the hierarchy of violent crimes. I remember hearing that he chased after the guy. If true, that's not self defense, or defending your home. The judge has the discretion to place him on probation if convicted. I'd say there is a good chance he won't go to jail if convicted. |
