As far as I am concerned, EVERY day is Have a Beer day. I do not drink a beer every day, but I do not limit myself to special days or times.

Pirate I like XX, but I prefer Porters especially Chocolate or Coffee Stouts.  Amber ales are OK.   A high gravity Imperial Stout on occasion is OK.

I like to say (especially around my wife) that I like my beer like my women: dark and bitter. To which she replies "I am not bitter.  And if I am it is because of you." I love that woman.

I drink beer every day that I possibly can. Im a huge Benjamin Franklin fan, I don't feel like I have to wait on a "national" day....
