We got nothing from our pick or final drive of the first half. Those could account for a nine point delta.

Just really bad luck on the Wright fumble. Otherwise its 10-10, if not 14-10

Herring

He is KILLING us. At least 4 plays today I noted he was too slow.  Or at least 3, on one replay he was farther away from the play initially than I thought, but on that one, he still could have gotten there sooner.  He is too slow for an SEC LB IMO.

He hasn't been atrocious, but neither has he made plays. WRs have made some nice catches. He's been serviceable, but 7 points through three quarters isn't getting it done.

Like I said, I think he's being held back from attempting the riskier throws (over the middle and such). That may have been justified earlier in the season, but they need to take the shackles off now. Our defense is now depleted and incapable of winning games by themselves (not to mention they're being held with impunity).

Oh look, another "exception" to the rule that a play can't be stopped for review once the ball is snapped. So weird how it only ever benefits our opponents and not us.

I fault our coaches for not sending someone in to shred Shrader's knee in the first half.

Yes, I said it. You sucker punch one of our guys, you're fair game.

A better plan would be to play defense like you care.

The left side of the defense has been torched over and over all day.  No changes.  No adjustments.  I do not understand.

I hate to say this about a player but Milton just doesn't seem to have a high football IQ.

This is what we'll get until Heupel gets a clue about defense and hires coaches that can coach it. He will not win an SEC title. Last year was his ceiling. He will be a 9-3 type coach. Which is fine if that's all you want He is too one sided toward offense and will always suffer on the D side of the ball. Mizzou and Bama are the only two offenses we have played with any kind of punch. That's why the defensive numbers have been kind of misleading. Yet you folks act like they are the second coming of the Steel Curtain. It didn't take much to improve over last years defense. Hopefully they can get off to a quick start against UGa and make it a good game. If things change and Heupel proves me wrong I will admit it. I thought he was a QB guru. He ain't fixed Milton.

Heupel is now 1-10 when trailing at halftime. What does that say about his halftime adjustments?

Most teams improve a lot as the season goes. This team hasn't so much. Seems UGa and Bama have. UGa seems to play as good as they need to.
