However, it's not orders of magnitude easier.
There's enough talent within 300 miles of Knoxville to compete for a national title. Unlike Michigan, a lot of quality programs fish those waters. In the Midwest Notre Dame and Ohio State are the only other programs of similar quality, and each has their own abundant source of players. But White does need to give him a big raise ASAP. He should be no worse than the 4th highest paid coach in the SEC.
