Wait- Ooltewah actually made the playoffs? I stopped keeping up when they started out something like 1-5.

Autstin-East finished the season 2-7.  Johnson County was 2-8.  Grundy County was 2-6.  Ooltewah was 2-7.  Happy Valley was 1-8.  Warren County was 1-7.

Question:  What do these teams all have in common?

Answer:  They all made the playoffs.

TSSAA might as well just let everyone in the playoffs.

And now they’ve watered down basketball the same way by adding an additional classification. There are some districts now that only have 4 teams, meaning every team is automatically in the regionals. It’s all about the $$ (TSSAA’s gate fee is now $10 for football) and it’s beyond ridiculous.
