I think Tennessee beats Florida 30-27 with a fg late like in the 2004 game.

If it comes down to a FG, we're hosed.

I don't think it will necessarily be close. I think we can take em by 10-17 points, or if we play poorly, the opposite.

But we will see....

If UF loses, it will be nuclear. If UT loses, it will be about the same as the last few years.

I think that Florida will win the game. UT has not done anything in a long, long time to suggest that a win over one of the better programs in the SEC is likely. Florida may be a bit disjointed as of late, but they still have deeper talent than we do. The gap has narrowed a little, however.

It would not surprise me if UT wins but, again, smart money would be on the Gators.

I'm almost too afraid to post a prediction.

After all, I mostly know how good UF is right now. Many people are calling them "average" or "pretty good", but I think that they are still capable of beating most teams including us.

I don't really know how good UT is. A win against a NC State team of unknown quality and a win against a Georgia State team of known lack of quality doesn't exactly convince me that UT can beat UF.

But I'm sniffing at the orange Kool-Aid.

UT 21   UF 17

Why not? It's not like anything I say can influence the outcome. But it worries me that I think UT can win this game.

I'm still in complete show me mode.  In all honesty I'm going to be really surprised if we take care of business this Saturday.

"Pandemonium Reigns" Tennessee 31 Florida 17 wouldn't mind seeing the field stormed.

We are perfectly capable of beating them.  Maybe Dooley has yet to get it done for an entire season, but at least he had the excuse of lack of talent and depth the last two years.  Muschamp has no such excuse and pretty much suxed last year, and has not shown me any reason to think he's better this year.

We can beat them and IMO will.  I guess we'll find out soon enough.

People need to stay off the field. They are ranked like 18th.

More of the emotion for me finally ending a long streak at home and the atmosphere should be good with the night game and ESPN and all that. I doubt it happens but itd be fun to see.

Agree.   It shouldn't be that big a deal this year.

I don't want to look ahead, but another hated rival is in fact no. 1 right now.    In the event we beat them, it MIGHT be appropriate, but not for uf.

There will be no field storming if we win.  Even though this streak is longer, it doesn't feel as long as it did in '98.  That was "only" five straight losses, but probably four of those cost us SEC and/or National title shots.  They were the only ones standing in our way back then, and when we finally beat them, it was a huge monkey off our backs.  Right now, they've beaten us seven straight- but that's not exactly an exclusive club these days.   And like Revolver said, they're not that good anyway.

Now if we were to beat bammer next month, the fans may tear down the whole damn stadium.

I'm saying Bray passes for over 300 against florida.  If the real VOL team shows up...the smack will be laid down on florida's candy arse!  It will be a long trip back to Gainesville for the gators.  I shall celebrate in a huge way if our VOLS are victorious!

If we play like we've shown so far and they play like they've shown so far we win, hence the reason we're favored to win.  Field storming, umm no.

The reason I say I'll be surprised if we win is because of our track record against them.

You certainly do. That is, if you're claiming a Kiffin-like moral victory.

I forgot to mention that the last Gator touchdown was with 5 seconds to play against our scrubs.  They'll run the stadium steps for that.

I suspect there will be lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth for the losing team.
