Seriously?

He should have added "but you suck as fans and your stadium and fan support blows"

I believe that is a classy action by Franklin.  Vandy gave him his first shot as a HC, he performed and parlayed it into a better gig.  Vandy and Franklin should both be happy.  Win/win for both parties, IMHO.

LOL, win/win? Do you know how furious this ad would make me if I were a Vandy fan?

Nothing too elaborate is necessary.  Just a simple photoshop of him giving the one-fingered salute should suffice.

It gets even better.  If you think 8-ball paid for that ad out of his own pocket, well, you'd be wrong.

Yep, there is no "win" in it at all for Vandy.  It's no different than if Kiffin had placed an ad like that after leaving UT.  Regardless of the intent, it's not classy at all.  It seems more like a slap in the face to the school and it's fans.  Both wanted him to stay, and certainly neither wanted him raiding the Vandy recruits after he decided to leave.

Based on the what they are saying on the Vandy board, they agree with you 100%. They are also saying the scum probably had that done before he left Nashville and had it billed to Vandy......They said JF screwed them twice!!!

LSU Freaks words (I would use these)

"F You Vandy.  It was a really shizzlety experience the way you stayed away in droves.  I am forever grateful I don't have to coach in the SEC anymore."

Well, much as I dislike Franklin, Kiffin's departure was much more a slap in the face to Vols fans.  Had Kiffin DARED put an ad like that out...well Vol fans can't really hate him any more than they already do, but...

I think Franklin's intent was probably good, but I agree that it's completely classless.  Kiffin doing that would have been a whole other thing though, IMO.
