Title: All things must pass.... Post by: droner on August 02, 2011, 12:31:20 EDT The last piece of kidney stone exited the launch tube at 2:00 AM this morning. None of the evacuations caused any pain. None of this man having a baby thing. Although there was one instance of a slight sting. The pain I experienced was on that Sunday morning I had to go to the emergency room. It's interesting that the last piece left when it did. My surgical follow-up at the urologist was this afternoon. Quite convenient.
The x-ray revealed that "This house is clean!" Title: Re: All things must pass.... Post by: VinnieVOL on August 02, 2011, 01:06:59 EDT So, what's Droner drinking this weekend? :-)
Title: Re: All things must pass.... Post by: droner on August 02, 2011, 01:20:52 EDT So, what's Droner drinking this weekend? :-) A lot. I'm sure I'll be back to the two bottle menu again. I drank a good bit of wine Saturday night at dinner with friends. I can't go cold turkey. Title: Re: All things must pass.... Post by: XHotlanta on August 02, 2011, 01:39:19 EDT CONGRATS! Glad you're "clean" now.
Hope I never come within 1,000 miles of one of those things. Title: Re: All things must pass.... Post by: Inspector Vol on August 02, 2011, 02:32:35 EDT I had one.......I have never hurt so bad in my life. Unreal.
Title: Re: All things must pass.... Post by: GreggO on August 02, 2011, 05:18:37 EDT Well, good deal they didn't 'wipe their feet" before leaving!
You had the ultrasonic smashing slam-dance treatment, right? I really do and really don't miss working in the medical feild. It was SO interesting; that's why I had no hesitation with my story about catherizing a resident surgeon when he had stones. It's great that you are the "real you" again! Hope you continue to be well. G Title: Get well soon..droner! :O) Post by: Barbivol on August 02, 2011, 03:09:35 EDT
Title: Re: All things must pass.... Post by: ReVOLver on August 02, 2011, 03:52:56 EDT Mine only hurt when they would get stuck in the tube between the kidney and the bladder and cause a fluid backup into the kidney. They never hurt when passed. So I think we have similar experiences.
