Title: Re: Our most recent previous FB coach loses another one that he stole.... Post by: BanditVol on August 17, 2011, 03:55:27 EDT It could get really ugly at USC really fast. They were 7-5 last year, and have a possibly losing season staring them in the face. Meanwhile sanctions are really starting to bite and they still employ Kiffin and Orgeron.
What's the over/under on Lane getting fired? Some might say end of this year, but I think Pat Haden will let him hold on through 2012 when the worst of the sanctions finish or at least start to diminish. I am not 100% sure of the effect of the appeal, but I am pretty sure that 2011 and 2012 are the two first (and worst) years. Hopefully by mid-2012, we will be competing for the SEC East while the countdown to Laney getting fired is clicking very loudly. Title: Re: Our most recent previous FB coach loses another one that he stole.... It may take a year or two longer for these reductions to affect them on the field. But they're not doing so well even before the deductions, the decline started before Carroll left. Kiffin + Orgeron + USC's Repeat Offender Status = Death Penalty. 'Nuff said! |
